Mason Lake and Spencer Lake

Wednesday we woke up at the crack of dawn to catch the ferry from Seattle to Mason Lake and Spencer Lake to visit Travis' family friends the Stebbin's (who live on Mason Lake) and to visit Travis' Aunt Jeannine and Uncle Bob and a few of his cousins (who live on Spencer Lake). We started out at Mason Lake where Travis' parents were staying that week with the Stebbin's.

We went on a boat ride around the lake and then Travis and I tried out their new paddle board. It was SO COOL. Its like a surfboard you can stand on and paddle around the lake. It takes some effort to stay balanced on it (and trust me I didn't want to fall in:) but it is apparently a new thing in WA and I LOVED IT!:)

After that we all headed to Spencer Lake for the rest of the day. Travis' cousin Chris was at his aunt and uncle's with his daughter Sienna who was the CUTEST little girl, she really took to Travis and she had him wrapped around her finger the rest of the day!:) Travis' aunt and uncle just finished building their house on the lake and it was BEAUTIFUL, honestly, it made my jaw drop! We went on a boat ride around Spencer Lake and then just ate, drank and visited with each other. We had a great day with family and friends!:)

Oh, and the views of Seattle and Mt. Rainer from the ferry were amazing!
